One of the most important touristic attractions in Pontevedra is its rich and assorted gastronomy. With the "Menu da Ría” we're trying to, meeting tradition and modernity, show products and receipts of the city of Pontevedra. An exclusive menu with sea and land food, served with Galician wines.

Our Gastronomic Experience

A Casa da Oliva:
  • Warm salad with shrimps, Saint James’ shells and albariño wine Lagar de Cervera.
  • Creamy rice of small squids in ink sauce served with albariño Burgáns.
  • Hake in albariño sauce served with turnip tops and ribeiro wine Casal de Paula.
  • Beef grilled with sautéed mushrooms and asparagus served with mencía wine Casa Moreiras.
  • Cream crêpe with port wine served with a cream schnapps and hot chocolate.
  • Coffee.
 
Cinco Puertas:
  • Salad crêpe filled with monkfish and shrimps and with sweet red pepper sauce.
  • Octopus au gratin with San Simón cheese.
  • Hake with albariño sauce and cockles.
  • Beef grilled served with vegetables.
  • Baked cheese cake.
  • Coffee.
  • Albariño wine Zárate or similar and mencía red wine/ D.O. Monterrei Crego and Monaguillo or similar.
 
Banastería:
  • Sea spider pie au gratin with Albariño sauce.
  • Big prawn crunchy with basil and critic’s mayonnaise.
  • Sea bass steamed served with canon herbs sauce and seasonal vegetables.
  • Galician beef sirloin with mushrooms and oyster mushroom sauce.
  • Mousse of typical Galician cheese "Tetilla".
  • Coffee.
  • Albariño wine Zárate or similar and mencía red wine/ D.O. Monterrei Crego and Monaguillo or similar.
 
El Cafetín:
  • Scallops tartar and strawberry jam. Served with: "3 ovispos" (mencía rosé)
  • Rias Baixas beaches. Wine: "Baladiña" (Albariño)
  • Red mullet grilled with a consommé of its bones smoked. Wine: "Quinta do Couselo" (D.O. Rias Baixas, o Rosal)
  • Turbot pickled "al pil pil" and stewed mixed vegetables. Wines: "Viña Meín" (D.O. Ribeiro)
  • "Tentación Xacobea". Wines: "Budiño" (cool herbs liquor)
 
Eirado da Leña:
  • Anchovy on brine (home-made in Eirado) with Galician "tetilla" cheese and seasonal ecological sprouts (from A Estrada).
  • "Foie" home-made in Eirado, local vegetable’s soup, violet petals and Modena reduction tempered.
  • Ria’s fish according to the market.
  • Iberia pork ribs glace.
  • Chocolate textures and flavours.

Allo e Aceite:
  • Baked scallop with clam’s rice.
  • Sardine’s steak with crumbs and sweeten tomatoes. 
  • Bream with spinach and parsley and garlic sauce.
  • Ox steak with San Simon cheese and roasted sauce.
  • French toast baked with caramel sauce.
  • Albariño wine Zárate
