Pontevedra is linked through the highway Autopista del Atlántico AP9, which communicates the coastal areas of Galicia from North to South, crossing the most important cities of the region.
From Portugal, the A-3 communicates Portuguese cities like Lisboa, Braga or Oporto with the AP-9 that reaches to Pontevedra.
The divided highway of Las Rías Baixas (A-52) links Pontevedra with the central plateau and Madrid.
The fast road VR4.1 will take you to the ría of Arousa in 25 minutes, in a journey of 26 km.
