Text : This convent preserves the church with the same name. The church was built in the second half of the 14th century, it belongs to the Gothic style, and some alterations have been made since then. Besides, it keeps an important collection of Baroque altarpieces. Situated outside the city, next to the Camino de Castilla, it was located in the Puerta de Santa Clara, one of the five entries to the old wall, together with the Puerta de as trabancas, situated in the Plaza de la Ferrería, the Puerta de Santo Domingos, the Convento de Santo Domingos, the Puerta de Santa María a Grande, in the basilica of Santa Maria a Mayor, and the Puerta del Puente, in the Burgo bridge.
