Text : The town hall is situated in the Plaza de España, at the intersection of the old part of the city and the Alameda del Arquitecto Sesmeros. It was built over the the remains of the old council buildings —15th-16th centuries—. It was built by architect Alejandro Rodríguez Sesmeros, who followed the eclectic style of the 19th century-1877-1890-It is a two-story house with rectangular floor.
The most outstanding details of the building are the window lintels and the main facade, with 4 pairs of columns, the balcony, and the clock, as well as the pediments of the doors.
