Text : This park constitutes a linear walk that crosses the majority of the urban stretch of Río de los Grafos, a canal that comes from Vilaboa, crosses Tomeza and the north area of Salceda, and enters in the city center through the area of the bus station. In the rural stretch, the river is accompanied by a pleasant path. In the urban stretch, the space was transformed into a linear park that begins in the bridge of the Estación avenue, crosses under Ponte Bolera (Vigo avenue) and reaches the park of Campolongo. All the route is in fact a leafy path at both banks of the river, supported by wood footbridges to make possible the walks, and a lighting suitable to a warm natural area situated in the city center. From this point, the Gafos passes under the Campolongo neighborhood, to be reborn in the Avenida de Rosalía de Castro, where the last practicable stretch can be found before the end of the walk, in las Cobarceiras. In this last stretch, 2 bridges and various traditional buildings will give you an idea of how the river was in older times, when it used to be one of the most typical pictures of the city, with the women washing clothes in the clear waters.
